Ingredients
- 1.5 oz London Dry Gin
- 0.5 oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 4 oz Premium Tonic Water
- 1 Lemon Wheel
- 1 Fresh Mint Sprig (Optional garnish)
How to make a Elderflower G&T
- Fill a highball glass with cold ice.
- Add the gin and elderflower liqueur.
- Pour the tonic slowly down the side of the glass.
- Stir once from the bottom without flattening the bubbles.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig.
Garnish
Lemon wheel and a small mint sprig.
Pro tip
Use a dry, citrus-forward gin so the elderflower liqueur adds lift rather than making the drink heavy. If your tonic is sweet, reduce the liqueur slightly.
History of the Elderflower G&T
