Ingredients
- 2 oz Cachaca
- 0.5 Lime (Cut into wedges)
- 2 tsp White Sugar
- 2 tbsp Passion Fruit Pulp (Or ripe mango or strawberry)
How to make a Caipifruta
- Muddle lime wedges, sugar and fruit pulp gently in a rocks glass.
- Fill with crushed ice.
- Add cachaca and stir until combined.
- Top with more crushed ice and garnish with lime.
Garnish
Lime wedge and a spoonful of fruit pulp.
Pro tip
Muddle the lime just enough to release juice and oils; crushing the pith adds harsh bitterness, especially with sweet fruit.
