Ingredients
- 2 oz Blanco Tequila
- 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Agave Syrup
- 2 Serrano Slices (Muddled)
- Top Grapefruit Soda
How to make a Serrano Paloma
- Rim a highball glass with Tajín if desired.
- Muddle serrano slices gently in the bottom of the glass.
- Add tequila, lime juice and agave syrup.
- Fill with ice and top with grapefruit soda.
- Stir once and garnish with grapefruit and serrano.
Garnish
Grapefruit wedge, serrano wheel and Tajín rim.
Pro tip
Serranos are sharper and often hotter than jalapeños. Remove seeds and start with one slice if you do not know the pepper's heat.
History of the Serrano Paloma
The Serrano Paloma follows the chile-and-grapefruit logic of the Spicy Paloma but uses serrano for a brighter, greener heat.
