Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Amaretto
- 0.75 oz Blended Scotch Whisky
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup (Adjust to taste)
- 0.5 oz Egg White (Optional but recommended)
How to make a Godfather Sour
- Add all ingredients to a shaker without ice.
- Dry shake for 15 seconds if using egg white.
- Add ice and shake hard until thoroughly chilled.
- Double strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with lemon peel and a cherry.

Pro tip
Use a blended Scotch rather than an aggressively peated single malt so the smoke supports the amaretto instead of swallowing it.
