- 2.5 oz Bourbon
- 0.5 oz Fresh Orange Juice
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
- 8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
How to make a Derby Day Julep
- Gently press the mint with the simple syrup in a julep cup.
- Add bourbon, orange juice and bitters.
- Pack the cup with crushed ice.
- Stir until the outside of the cup frosts.
- Top with crushed ice and garnish with mint, orange peel and a cherry.
