Ingredients
- 2 oz White Rum
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Green Chartreuse
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
How to make a Chartreuse Daiquiri
- Add white rum, lime juice, Green Chartreuse and simple syrup to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 12–15 seconds until the tin is thoroughly chilled.
- Fine-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Express a lime peel over the surface and garnish with a lime coin if desired.
Garnish
Lime coin or expressed lime peel.
Pro tip
Green Chartreuse is concentrated, so keep the measure deliberate. If the drink feels too herbal, reduce the Chartreuse slightly before adding more syrup; preserving the lime-to-rum balance matters more than making it sweeter.
History of the Chartreuse Daiquiri
The Chartreuse Daiquiri is a contemporary bar variation on the classic rum-and-lime sour. It uses the herbal liqueur as a small but commanding modifier, bringing alpine spice and green botanicals to a clean Daiquiri structure.
