Family: The Martini Family
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Olive Brine
- 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
- 3 Green Olives (pitted)
- 1 tbsp Blue Cheese (for stuffing olives)
How to make a Blue Cheese Dirty Martini
- Carefully stuff the pitted olives with small blue-cheese pieces and secure them on a cocktail pick.
- Fill a martini glass with ice and water to chill while you prepare the drink.
- Shake vodka, olive brine and dry vermouth with ice until very cold.
- Discard the chilling ice, strain into the martini glass and garnish with the prepared olives.
Garnish
Three blue-cheese-stuffed green olives on a pick.
Pro tip
A firm blue cheese stays in the olive better than a very creamy one. Keep the pieces small enough for the olive to remain intact.
History of the Blue Cheese Dirty Martini
