Ingredients
- 2 oz Aged Rhum Agricole
- 1 tsp Rich Cane Syrup
- 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
How to make a Agricole Old Fashioned
- Add the cane syrup and aromatic bitters to a mixing glass.
- Add aged rhum agricole and plenty of ice.
- Stir until cold and appropriately diluted.
- Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
- Express an orange peel over the surface and place it in the glass.

Pro tip
Choose an aged agricole, not a very grassy unaged blanc. Its barrel spice and cane character will sit more naturally in an Old Fashioned structure.

The Agric’Old Fashioned adapts the classic spirit, sugar, bitters and citrus-peel formula to rhum agricole. The Sugarcane Press version uses aged agricole, sugar, bitters and orange peel.
