Story mode — serve drinks in a 1920s speakeasy
A free narrative cocktail game set in a 1920s speakeasy. Customers order drinks by description rather than by name, so you learn to identify a cocktail from its flavour profile before building it.
Story mode places the bartending skills from the Virtual Bar into a 1920s speakeasy. Instead
of naming a drink, each customer describes what they want — something bitter and stirred, or
something bright and citrusy — and you have to work out which cocktail fits before building it.
Why description-based orders matter
Real bar guests rarely order by exact recipe name. Learning to map a description onto a
cocktail family is the skill that separates someone who has memorised recipes from someone who
can actually work a bar. Story mode drills that mapping while keeping the same step-by-step
building and scoring as the Virtual Bar.
