- 1 oz Jamaican Rum
- 1 oz Rhum Agricole
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Orange Curaçao
- 0.5 oz Orgeat
- 0.5 oz Overproof Rum float
How to make a Rum Barrel Mai Tai
- Add the base rums, lime juice, curaçao and orgeat to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 12-15 seconds.
- Strain over crushed ice in a double rocks glass or Tiki mug.
- Float the overproof rum over the back of a spoon.
- Garnish with the lime shell, mint and a touch of nutmeg.
