Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Lychee Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Lychee Syrup (from a quality canned lychee tin)
How to make a Lychee Martini
- Chill a martini glass.
- Add vodka, lychee liqueur, lime juice, and lychee syrup to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 12 seconds.
- Fine strain into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a single lychee on a pick.
Garnish
One peeled lychee on a pick.
Pro tip
Fresh lime is what prevents this from becoming sticky. Taste the lychee syrup first; some brands are much sweeter than others.
History of the Lychee Martini
The Lychee Martini rose through London, New York, and Asian hotel bars in the late twentieth century. It remains popular because lychee's floral perfume works naturally with clean vodka.
