Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Chambord or Raspberry Liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz Pineapple Juice
How to make a French Martini
- Chill a martini glass.
- Add vodka, raspberry liqueur, and pineapple juice to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 15 seconds to build a thick foam.
- Fine strain into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a raspberry.

Fresh raspberry or a thin lemon twist.
Pro tip
Shake longer than you think. Pineapple juice creates the signature foam only when it is shaken hard with plenty of cold ice.
History of the French Martini
The French Martini was popularized by Keith McNally's New York restaurant Balthazar in the 1990s. Despite the name, it is a New York cocktail with French raspberry liqueur.
