- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 3/4 oz Orange Curaçao
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz Dry Red Wine
How to make a Devil's Margarita
- Prepare a half salt rim on a rocks glass and fill it with fresh ice.
- Shake tequila, lime juice, curaçao, and syrup with ice.
- Strain over fresh ice.
- Slowly pour red wine over the back of a bar spoon so it floats on top.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
Garnish
Lime wheel and optional half salt rim.
Pro tip
Use a dry, fruit-forward red such as Malbec or Shiraz. Sweet red wine makes the float feel heavy and jammy.
