Pro tip
Gosling's actually trademarked the name 'Dark 'n' Stormy' — technically only their rum makes a real one. But any good dark rum works. The float creates a dramatic layered look.
History of the Dark 'n' Stormy
Born in Bermuda, where Gosling's Black Seal rum has been produced since 1806. British sailors mixed it with homemade ginger beer. A sailor reportedly said the drink looked like 'a cloud that only a fool or a dead man would sail under.'
