Pro tip
This is the less famous but arguably more elegant of the two Corpse Revivers. It's spirit-forward and warming — a true 'hair of the dog' drink meant for the morning after.
History of the Corpse Reviver No. 1
Published in Harry Craddock's 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book. The name suggests it was a hangover cure — 'to be taken before 11 am, or whenever steam and energy are needed.' The No. 2 version (with gin) became more popular.
Flavour profile
Warm, Fruity, Rich, Smooth
