History of the Brandy Crusta
Invented in New Orleans during the 1850s by Joseph Santini at his City Alcove restaurant, though historical accounts vary regarding its exact evolution from early crustas to the modern brandy cocktail template. Modern bartenders still keep Brandy Crusta in circulation because the recipe shows a clear point of view without needless decoration.
