Family: The Martini Family
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Blended Scotch
- 0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 0.75 oz Dry Vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
How to make a Affinity
- Add Scotch, both vermouths and bitters to a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir for 25–30 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass.
- Express an orange peel over the surface and garnish.
Garnish
Orange peel.
Pro tip
Use fresh vermouth from the refrigerator; tired vermouth makes a stirred drink taste dull before the Scotch has a chance to show itself.
